Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This policy explains what information ZipCodeBright (“we,” “us”) and our service providers and advertising partners collect when you visit zipcodebright.com (the “site”), how it is used, and the choices you have.

Address verification

When you use the address verification / ZIP+4 tool, the address you enter is sent to our server and then to Geocodio to match it against USPS ZIP+4 data. Results may be stored under a one-way hash of the address for up to 90 days so repeating the same check is free and fast. We do not link these hashes to you. Bot protection uses Cloudflare Turnstile. We apply a per-device daily limit to prevent abuse.

Most other tools (ZIP lookup, distance, radius, formatters, bulk CSV) run entirely in your browser and do not send your inputs to our servers.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare), analytics providers and advertising partners automatically receive standard technical information when you visit, such as IP address and approximate location, browser and device type, pages viewed, and cookie or advertising identifiers.

Advertising

ZipCodeBright is free because it is supported by ads. We work with Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-2094291923307803) and may work with other ad networks. Ad partners may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, measure performance and prevent fraud.

Opt out of personalized Google ads at Google Ads Settings, or use the NAI / DAA tools. See also How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before we or our ad partners use cookies for personalized ads, measurement or analytics. You can change your choices on our Cookie Policy page.

Global Privacy Control

We treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising for that browser.

Your U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising. To opt out, use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link or enable GPC. For access, correction, deletion or appeal requests, email hello@zipcodebright.com.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
